The Ercol Bronte reclining armchair, medium sofa and large sofa are all on display at both our Gamlingay and St Ives showrooms, so you can compare sizes side by side.
Bronte has ercol's classic H-frame legs in solid ash, with rounded profiles that sit closely to the curves of the upholstery. It comes in static and motion options, in fabrics from ercol's Casa and Universal collections, with pleated back cushions to prevent creasing.
Having all three sizes on one floor is the useful part. Choosing between an armchair, a medium, and a large is mostly about scale, and scale is the thing photographs get wrong. Sit in each, and you'll know within minutes.
If you're looking at the static version, the reclining models on display will still tell you what you need to know about the frame, the arms and the proportions - the mechanism is the only difference.
Both showrooms carry the full Ercol fabric books, so if a fabric here isn't right, it probably exists. Plenty of free parking, and nobody will follow you round.
